Sin the whole manufacturing process we use only top class quality raw material that ensures that only flawless Power Measurement Instruments reach to clients. Further one can browse for the best Torque Measurement Instruments at most legible prices. In addition, we are the esteemed Measurement Instruments Manufacturer incepted in India. INS - 1 INTRODUCTION “EEE” Instrumentation Tutor is specially designed to provide the students with easy to understand instrumentation set-ups which are economical, instructive and sturdy enough to be handled by students. Underlying principles for a wide variety of parameters could be explained and demonstrated to the students. Electronic instrumentation has been introduced as a core subject in most of the courses leading to degree or diploma in Engineering. But very few laboratories are equipped with proper models with which fundamental principles of measurement could be properly demonstrated to the students. In most of the cases the students have to be possibly satisfied with black-board discussions. SPECIFICATIONS 1) For simplicity in handling and to cover more batches at a time, the instrumentation Tutor is built in three parts. Each part is complete by itself. 2) Necessary transducer setups and connecting links are provided with each tutor part. 3) Mains 230 volts A.C. Operated. 4) Other specifications and scope of supply of each tutor part are given separately. FEATURES The various circuits & associated components are housed in a three-elegent cabinets A separate printed circuit board is meant for each of the parameters incorporating modern integrated circuits, which provide the set-up with highest reliability. Modular construction for individual parameters will make the setup easy form the maintenance point of view. 1) Students can come to know about the various transducers in terms of their sensitivity, non-linearity, time response & merits and demerits. Thus students can create clear picture about limitations of various transducers in addition to the understanding of the basic principles. 2) Various test points are brought out on the front panel of set-up in order to enable the students to observe the wave forms. 3) A full-illustrated instruction manual will be provided along with the equipment. INSTRUMENTATION TUTOR (PART - I ) This part consist of following transducers 1) Thermocouple 2) Thermistor 3) RTD & 4) Non Contact type speed Indicator. TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT :- This particular parameter could be measured by three types of sensors or transducers. 1) Thermocouple. 2) Resistance Temperature Detector. 3) Thermistor. For thermocouples the students also develop understanding of cold compensation. Students can perform calibration between ice-point & boiling point of water (100C) & come to know about various features of all these transducers. A common meter will be used for all these transducers. All the sensors along with connecting cables, small hot water bath, ice pot and thermometer are provided with the equipment for calibration & check-up. NON CONTACT SPEED MEASUREMENT:- R.P.M. measurement will be demonstrated with the help of both magnetic & photoelectric pick-up. A small motor with variable speed drive will be provided & necessary accessories like gear wheel & disc. Etc. mounted on the motor shaft. A calibration source will also be provided. INSTRUMENTATION TUTOR (PART - I I ) STRAIN MEASUREMENT:- Strain measurement with the help of resistance wire strain gauges mounted on a cantilever beam can be demonstrated. Accessories include a cantilever beam mounted with strain gauges, weights, Micro-voltmeter and null balancing arrangement for the bridge circuit. LINEAR VARIABLE DIFFERENTIAL TRANSFORMER : ( L.V.D.T.) This transducer will be used to demonstrate the displacement measurement of a movable core. A stable AC. Excitation source will be used & the output of the transducer will be provided with amplification & phase sensitive detection. Calibration of the L.V.D.T. can be carried out & checked. Waveforms at test points can be observed. INSTRUMENTATION TUTOR (PART - III ) This part consists of following transducers Inductive pick-up 2) capacitive pickup 3) Pizoelectric pickup & 4) LDR. INDUCTIVE PICK-UP Displacement of a movable core changes the self inductance of coil which is working as one of the arms of a bridge circuit. The circuit is excited by a stable excitation source. After necessary signal conditioning circuits, the outputs read on a meter. The core displacement can be checked with the help of a micrometer provided along with the transducer. Various waveforms can be observed on C.R.O. CAPACITIVE TRANSDUCER Here the capacitive transducer is used to demonstrate angular displacement measurement of a shaft. Frequency Modulation Principle is used. PIEZOELECTRIC TRANSDUCER Piezoelectric Transducer is used to demonstrate its working as a dynamic force sensor. The base of this transducer is of magnetic material so this can be easily kept on vibrating body and pulses analogous to vibrations can be visualised on the oscilloscope ( of your own). LIGHT DEPENDENT RESISTANCE Here the application of on LDR for light intensity measurement is demonstrated by changing the distance of light source from LDR. LDR and light sources are enclosed in a suitable housing. The arrangement can serve as a displacement measurement system. INSTRUCTION MANUAL A manual is supplied which gives details of the apparatus and procedure of experiments SERVICES REQUIRED A.C. 230 V single phase stabilised supply with earthing connection SPACE REQUIRED :- 3 mtr x 2 mtr approximately. INS-13 INTRODUCTION “EEE” Velocity Measurement Module is designed and developed for the students to understand the basic concept of measurement of wind velocity. It consists of a small duct fitted at the suction side of a blower, which produces wind velocity. The airflow rate in the duct can be varied by means of a butter fly valve. The probe of anemometer will be placed in the duct. The velocity of air can be measured on a panel. SPECIFICATIONS 1. Blower : 1 H.P. Capacity. 2. Starter : 3-phase starter for motor. 3. Duct : Made up of M.S. Sheet 150mm x 150mm x 1000mm. Length. 4. Stand : M.S. Frame. 5.Anemometer with Probe: Hand held (Digital). : Battery operated. Vane Type. Range: 0 30m. / Sec. 6.Butterfly valve to vary the air velocity. The unit will be mounted on a sturdy M.S. Frame and will be Powder coated for better appearance and long life. INSTRUCTION MANUAL A manual is supplied which gives details of the apparatus and procedure of experiments along with sample calculations. SERVICES REQUIRED A.C. 230 V single phase stabilised supply with earthing connection. Space Required :- 1 mtr x 1 mtr approximately.
